FrogID - Museum of Tropical Queensland

Our frogs need your help!

A rare chance to meet one of the country’s leading frog experts – Dr Jodi Rowley at the Museum of Tropical Queensland , as she introduces FrogID.

FrogID is Australia’s first national frog count that will help safeguard the future of this threatened species.

You may have seen the recent national media coverage about the FrogID mobile app, developed by IBM, that’s being touted as ‘Shazam for frogs’.

Places are limited. Entry to the talk is free with Museum admission.

Hear more about how easy it is for you to help scientists discover where frogs are most at risk from habitat loss, disease and climate change.

This initiative is run in collaboration with natural science museums in every Australian state and territory.
Dr Jodi Rowley is the Curator of Amphibian & Reptile Conservation Biology at the Australian Museum and UNSW Australia.
